Important message from Sensei Ivan

President Sgt. Ivan Mendez along with his brother and fellow
Officer Sgt. Adrian Mendez with El Grupo Xtreme & manager "Benji"
in the center. The Scholarship dance was a success
with over 400 in attendance to see the sensational singing
group El Grupo Extreme. This year's scholarship recipient
was Jennifer Rodriguez. Several proprietors were also
acknowledged for the support of the National Latino Peace
Officers Association. They were: "Disco Hits", "Boricuba"
and "Director's Video."
Sensational
singing group: El Grupo Xtreme perform before a
crowd of over 400. This years event was a success.
The crowd of over 400 enjoy
music, food and dancing. This years event raised
funds for the ever important Scholarship Program.
The National Latino Peace Officers Association,
Mercer County Chapter and it's President Ivan Mendez
would like to thank all Sponsors and attendees.
On July 7, 2007 the new
Executive Board of the Mercer County Chapter were
sworn in by the Mercer County Clerk, Paula Covello
(Center). Pictured left to right: Harry

Clavell-2nd Vice President, Walter Worthy-Deputy
